<< more about PAUL NEINAST
Even with all of Neinast's fame, he makes it a point to be involved in
charitable organizations. He helped start the Weekend to Wipe Out Cancer with
Cindy Brinker and assisted with the event for the next two years. He also
started and chaired the first Cystic Fibrosis nonprofit gala in Dallas, Lido de
Paris, assisted with fundraising activities for the Cattle Barron's Ball, Junior
League, TACA, Crystal Charity Ball, and the Princes Grace Foundation, and worked
with the Suicide and Crisis Prevention Center to increase awareness. Most
recently, Neinast has focused his efforts on EXCAP, The Exchange Club Center for
the Prevention of Child Abuse of DFW, Inc., serving on the advisory board for
five years, and serving on the local and state board of Child Protective
Services. During the past four years, Neinast has helped raise $450,000, and
just received approval for $1.2 million in grant from the Meadows Foundation for
their facility headquarters in the historical Swiss Avenue district, that
Meadows has completely renovated. The Meadows Foundation included a $150,000
grant for staff and gave a 10 year free lease for one of the buildings.
Neinast is also a columist in the Dallas Morning News, Today section under
relations tips every Friday. Neinast and four others give personal advice to
writers who write in for advice. "Everyone is an Expert," is the title of the
column.
Neinast also serves on the board of the C.F. Jung Society for the North Texas
Chapter.
Neinast says he's now lived long enough to know who he is. He attributes his
success to being flexible, riding out the highs and lows in business. He also
heeds his mother's advice: success is nothing but failure turned inside out.
